UPDATE - December 30 2008
Whew! Starting to catch up again =D I thought I was gonna be in big trouble. The parking garage scene from Queen Nadia was taking a long time to render the images. I finally got over that hump on Monday morning about 3AM EST. That means I pumped out almost half of this week's Queen Nadia story images out in the last 48 hours.
So yes, things are getting back on track. Hopefully next week I'll be able to update monday evening, or have more than 2 pages of Kick! to update with...or (shudder) both!
Just a word of warning, this goes for last week's update also. Strong racial slurs are used in the Queen Nadia story. I'd hope it's obvious that the work is fiction and I don't condone that sort of behavior. I do, however, recognize that those attitudes exist and are despicable...the intention is to make the character using those slurs more despicable. Nuff said.
Also just let me say this week's Queen Nadia was emotional for me. I killed one of my characters. A character I liked a lot. It was similar to losing a pet...not nearly as hard, but enough to squeak a few tears out of me, especially putting myself into the head of the one closest to the deceased. It wasn't a pleasant place to be for me. I have to say, I don't expect anyone else to feel the same way, I don't consider myself a great writer or anything...I just wanted you all to know how important this story has become to me. It was no small thing I did.
Anyway...the UPDATE!

In addition, I also modified many of the existing images from Queen Nadia's last update. I think the parking garage scene images came out too dim. I was telling myself "Yeah, it's a dimly lit parking garage" but I just wasn't happy with them, so I upped the contrast and brightness. I overdid it a bit, but I'm happy with them now. Perfection is for people without unrealistic self-imposed deadlines =D

One thing...Would you guys rather I update at the same time each week? I've been holding off because of certain production goals I've placed on myself ( ie. 100 images per update ) and it's slowly driving my update time back ( due in part to my work schedule, which is returning to a semblance of normalcy ). I'll eventually be able to catch up and work my way back to monday updates unless some terrible stuff happens, but I'm just curious if there's a preference. Please feel free to email me from the 'Contact' area.

Despite my work schedule, I'm still managing to post updates with 100+pics. Luckily, my schedule will be returning to a semi-normal state after this week, which should allow me to get more than four hours of sleep on the weeknights =D
At the time I'm writing this I'm still waiting for one last picture to finish rendering...I don't know why it's giving me such trouble...I may decide to skip it until next week...ANYWAY...

Alright, now I'm pushed back to wednesday with my update. But I really wasn't expecting what happened. Yes, my schedule is still restricting my time, but I started another story. I'm going to have to try very hard to keep it a short story, see below.
Other than that and what you see below, I also fixed some typos and other errors in the text of the existing Barbarian Slut pages. I updated a few other pages. I am tired. I really busted my ass a little too much to get you all an update this size. For any non-members reading this, I'll get around to a new preview page next week.
Unless I collapse from lack of sleep...which is a distinct possibility...

UPDATE - December 2 2008
FUCK! Well, bad news. Due to the day job, I'll be in a classroom period for the next 3 weeks. What this means to youse peoples is I'll be losing about 15 hours of production time per week, eaten up by drive time and relative inability to do anything during lunches. Smaller updates. Sorry.
So, I'm not sure if I'll be producing anything other than Queen Nadia and miscellaneous pics until this period is over. I'm pretty dedicated to my production, but I'm not going to pull my hair out and drive myself crazy trying to maintain a pace I know is impossible. I'll plan on taking a vacation in February and dedicate most of it to Amazonix.
Also had some issues with normal production this week. I lost my old parking lot. Found a different one and had a real tough time lighting it. I'm going to have to remake my old parking lot. Oh, well...ANYWAYS...the update:

Starting to get back on track...one of these weeks I'm actually gonna update on monday like I want to...grrr...I need to start putting together the Barbarian Slut pages earlier. I always underestimate how long it takes to make them. It's a lot more time-consuming than one would think. Then again, I've only got two more pages until the end of issue 1. I don't know if I want to jump right into issue 2 or move on to Val's first story. We'll find out next week! Until then, enjoy the marginally voluminous update :D

*COUGH-COUGH!* Updating even later this week. I lost almost two days from being sick where I produced almost nothing. It wasn't the "call out from work to stay home and relax" sick...it was the "go to work and get even sicker" kind of sick. I'm still kinda under the weather or I would have pulled another all-nighter so I could update before noon. Believe it or not, I'd rather update on monday night and relax for a few hours on tuesday. Oh, well. I cut back a bit overall on the total update size, but there's EXACTLY 100 new images altogether.

OK, so I got this other computer up and running and I have a bit of a bigger update this week. On top of that, you don't even know how much more I actually did this week. Anyone who knows Poser/DAZ can look at what I did with Barbarian Slut this week and say "Ohhh...THAT'S what he was doing!" Fortunately, I believe I won't have too much other than images to make for the next few weeks...that means BIGGER updates :) I'm looking forward to handling some requests that have been made, pushing forward faster with Barbarian Slut and putting together a few more sets of Poser Content I've made during the past few weeks while I was falling behind the pace I'd set for myself. I just hope the urge to start another full story doesn't sneak up while I'm doing so >eep!<

Oh, yeah...and I forgot to mention that last week the size of the members area went over 1GB! =D

Alright, I was going to go into a long drawn out rambling spot, but I'm too tired. Let's just say I finally got this second computer up and running, so I should be catching up to where I want to be instead of falling behind =D And if you've seen the site before you just might notice almost every index page has been modified.

A few extra hours late with the update. Technical difficulties for half the week. Nothing HUGE, but enough to consume probably ten hours and a lot of energy and momentum that could have been utilized elsewhere!
1 - In the Queen Nadia update, where Harley destroys her chair, it, for no particular reason, completely stumped my rendering software. Never had a problem with the chair before, I've used it probably a half dozen times. I had to try a bunch of different things to finally get the picture made. 2 hours gone.
2 - This Barbarian Slut scene really kicked my butt. I was doing fine until I beheaded the one guy. All those little blood particles cost me probably six hours with saving before each picture, reloading after my software unexpectedly closed. I hope I don't come up with too much more stuff to do in that scene.
3 - Contracted some Malware last night. Pretty nasty one. Took four hours to find a fix that worked :(
But on the bright side, I'll soon be coming into possession of 2nd computer with enough resources to handle my work. Hopefully I can get is set up and running before the next update. It won't double my production and it's not the super-uber computer I WANT to have built, but it'll help out a lot!
So then, the update:

I spent a lot of time revamping the main page of the site. I thought I would wind up having a much smaller update, but once again, I've got over a hundred new images! 11 pages of stories and a few miscellaneous ones, too.

Not quite so tired...got a solid 4 hours sleep last night :D

I'm also going to try to revamp this page. I'm told it could have a more professional look, and to be honest, as more new stories get created, that section on the right is gonna take longer and longer to scroll through. I guess I should also take into account those with lower-resolution monitors. It's just a matter of sacrificing some picture size...maybe...we'll see. Enjoy!

Other than Nadia, no new story pages. It's not that I'm out of ideas AT ALL...it's more like a combination of things. Let me explain quickly...
I kind of got used to updating with 8 new Nadia pages weekly, but since the site launched, I've had a stash of pages ready to go. After last week's technical difficulties, I used up all I had in reserve. BUT...I upgraded the RAM in my main computer, which makes for much quicker rendering =D I shouldn't have a problem pumping out 72 images with text for Nadia weekly, as long as I have all the environments for the scenes set up in advance. I spent a good bit of my time doing that. So the problem I faced with new story ideas was that I'd need to use my laptop to make the images...so the story has to be simple with very few characters involved. Most stories I want to do will involve more CPU power, but don't fear! I'll have a new short story started next week! Should be fun! =D
Lots of higher-quality miscellaneous pictures this week, though. I'm expanding my artistic side ;)

This update comes a little later than normal. Had a lot of technical difficulties this week, but still I deliver well over the 45 new images I claimed would be normal.

Updated my Deviantart Gallery with some more detailed images with Shelly and Dave.
Currently updating my Renderosity Gallery with 3 more pics of Val, the site mascot, (yes, the very muscular lady in the cutoff jean shorts) but they only allow 1 upload per day.

I lost a LOT of sleep this week trying to keep my pace up. I hope someone actually reads this and appreciates it :D
